Dive Trip Calendar and Rates
We run every day of the week but do not have a set schedule during the low season. Trips are typically at 8am and 2pm during the Summer high season. All trips are subject to a minimum rate. Night dives and spearfishing charters are scheduled as requested.

Dive Trips canceled by the Captain due to weather will receive a full immediate refund.
*Prices are per person with a minimum for the dive trip to "make".
*All trips are open to the public unless specifically requested to be private, a fee will apply to private trips.

Rental Gear

Tanks are $5.00 for air and $7 for 32% EANx
For divers on the Steel Slinger, we will have tanks waiting for you on the boat as long as we are provided with reasonable notice.
All other gear is available at our Dive Shop at 5512 Thomas Drive Panama City Beach, FL 32408.
Our full rental package is $45 and includes everything you need for a boat trip. BCDs and wetsuits must be properly fitted to the individual so we require everyone who needs to rent them to come by the shop to get fitted.

All dates are available unless otherwise noted above. All trips are open to the public unless a private charter is arranged at extra cost, parties of 10 or more are automatically private.

Required & Recommended Dive Equipment
*All persons making 3 or more dives are required to have a dive computer.
Likewise divers are limited to trips that they have the proper training for.
* If you don't have a computer, a timing device is required on all trips.
How else will you know how to work your tables?
*Dive lights are required on night dives.
(Two would be ideal)
*Dive gloves are strongly advised.
* A dive knife.

Spearfishing Trips

Spearfishing trips are typically "whole boat" charters based on the going rate of $600 for the first 5 shooters and an additional $120 per person past 5. The difference between a "spearing charter" and our regular trips is that we do not put more than 4 people down at a time and cover much more ground hitting multiple sites. 3-4 drops each is the norm, with more drops the less people we have. We also "live boat" so divers are free to ascend directly instead of trying to navigate back to a down line that can be easy to lose track of during a good spearing dive. These trips are for experienced divers only as spearos tend to end up effectively alone for periods of time while diving. Depths are typically around 100' so nitrox and a liberal dive computer are mandatory. If you need help filling spots please let us know and we'll be happy to help find spearos to help split costs. The two internet spearfishing forums on the "links" page are excellent networking tools for spearing divers. Spearing trips are done differently from straight scuba trips because most people want more than 2 dives for a day of spearing. Additionally spearos do better with fewer divers per site necessitating more drops with "teams" hitting different sites. If two or three drops on two or three sites is enough for your group then let us know and we'll book you under the offshore scuba rate, a three person minimum is still required though.
