Panama City Dive Charters
Scuba, Spearfishing and Underwater Photography Charters to the Wrecks and Reefs for the Panama City Offshore Experience

Our goal is to get you to the wrecks or reefs you want to see in the most comfort possible. Our boats have full enclosures to keep Summer rain showers from affecting your time topside. Drinks, fresh fruit and various snacks are always provided. If you need rental tanks they will be waiting for you on the boat. When you are on our charter, all you have to do is dive.

 Offshore 3 tank

 $100

 Night Dives

*Prices are per person with a three person minimum for the boat to make.
*All trips are open to the public unless specifically requested to be private.

Spearfishing Trips
Spearfishing trips are typically "whole boat" charters $450 for 1-4 passengers on the Snapper Slapper and $650 for the Nauti Diver which is up to 6 passengers. If you need help filling spots please let us know and we'll be happy to find spearos to help split costs. The two internet forums on the links page are excellent networking tools for spearing divers. The reason spearing trips are done differently than straight scuba trips is that most people want more than 2 dives for a day of spearing. For the prices listed above you get the boat all day until you are out of gas or have no bottom time left to speak of. If two or three drops is enough let us know and we'll book you under the scuba rate, a three person minimum is still required though.

Please Note
Gratuity to the deckhand/divemaster is both customary and appreciated.

Rental Tanks

Tanks are $7.50 for air and $14 for 32% EANx
They are available through Divers Den on Thomas Dr and can be waiting for you on the boat if you tell us ahead of time.

Common "inshore trips" include the either;
1) the USS Strength coupled with the LOS pontoon Chicasaw or bridge spans 1,2 or 12.
Or 2) the Black Bart and Chickasaw, Hovercraft, Stage 2, the PCMI barge or bridge span 14.
We are happy to run to any other combination of wrecks or sites as long as it is arranged ahead of time or only a single group is on the boat. If you have already been to the Bart 300 times please tell us, we'd rather take you somewhere you want to go.

The offshore trips are everything else including the Accokeek, Chippewa, Putnam, Twin Tugs, Commander, Tarpon, Mac Reef and Stage 1.
*Inshore refers to the distance traveled from the pass, 3 - 7.5 statute miles. Meaning some trips relatively close to shore but further down the coast may be considered offshore. Any such trip will be clearly marketed to prevent confusion.

*All persons making 3 or more dives are required to have a dive computer.
Likewise divers are limited to trips that they have the proper training for. (no OW divers making offshore 110' dives!)

New
boat Ordered!
Today we officially put the money down on a brand new Newton 36' Dive Special. She will have a Coast Guard Inspection certifying her for 20 divers and 2 crew but we will only carry 15 passengers as a rule. It is our aim to be able to bring the same level quality quality to clubs and larger groups that we have maintained with our 6 pack charters. Currently, she is scheduled for completion on October  31..... probably a good thing mariners aren't a superstitious lot! ;) As of right now the new dive boat does not have a name and we welcome all suggestions.

In an effort to prevent any headaches in the middle of the Summer season it has been decided to pull the port engine from the Spear Em Deep and rebuilt it. Recently its been several shades too "finicky" for continued reliable use. Hopefully this will be completed by mid April and she'll be back in operation. Ironically we are getting reports of 50-70' vis inshore right now!
